Yup, China did it.
Again under President Trump’s fire for spreading the coronavirus and failing to give the world a heads-up that it was coming, American disapproval of the communist nation has reached a historic high of 73%.

And 50% said Washington should hold Beijing “responsible for the role it played in the outbreak,” according to the Pew Research Center.
Importantly, while there is a partisan split on China, a sizable majority of Democrats fail it because of the virus. Some 68% of Democrats and 83% of Republicans “have an unfavorable view of China.”

Trump and his team have been whacked in the polls over their handling of the coronavirus, but the public fails China more, and the president knows that. In recent weeks, he has revived a campaign to blame China, and it is having an impact.
Outside groups that favor the president have been attacking China for months for its role with the coronavirus and the economy. Even the Republican Attorneys General Association has joined in the battle with a “Make China Pay” campaign.
This week, several experts and lawmakers attacked China during a two-day conference at the Trump International Hotel in Washington, D.C., hosted by Liberty University’s Falkirk Center.
