Conservative talker Mark Levin debuted his new online TV show Monday night decrying the establishment GOP’s push for a brokered national convention where they hope to derail Donald Trump and Sen. Ted Cruz.
Levin, an outspoken critic of moderate Republicans, warned on Levin TV that the goal of the Republican establishment is to install a so-called “Republican In Name Only,” or RINO, not a conservative.
And, he warned on the new nightly subscription show, that such a move would be a disaster for the Republicans and the grassroots movement behind both Trump and Cruz, the current frontrunners in the race for the presidential nomination.
Levin:
“Now, let’s talk about this convention issue. The Republican establishment would like nothing more than to drag this into a convention because generally speaking if there’s not enough delegates for one candidate, 1,237, on the second ballot it’s my understanding it’s thrown to the floor.
“We know Cruz will never win if it’s thrown to the floor, Trump will never win if it’s thrown to the floor, they’ll try and find one their rhino boys to push in there, that is a disaster, it is a disaster for the Republican Party, it’s a disaster for grassroots movements all over the country but it could happen, it could happen.”
