Former Bush spokeswoman Dana Perino, co-host of “The Five” on Fox, is challenging fellow Fox celeb Bill O’Reilly for the top-selling conservative book in the nation.
Her new memoir, And the Good News Is…: Lessons and Advice from the Bright Side, just appeared as No. 2 on the Conservative Bestseller List behind O’Reilly’s Legends & Lies. The book traces her path to politics and the media.
“As a perennial favorite of Fox News devotees, Dana Perino proves she not only has media savvy, but writing chops as well,” said Christopher N. Malagisi, editor of the Conservative Book Club. “As press secretary to one of the most consequential American presidents, it’s actually surprising it took this long for her to write a memoir. But we’re happy she did as she is very relatable and presents her opinions in non-incendiary ways.”
