Buzz: Pence gifts the vice president’s ornament, Kristi Noem travels to hunt, Democracy for America’s Neil Sroka moves on

Vice President Mike Pence gave Christmas partygoers a little present this year.

It was the vice presidential 2020 ornament, stamped “Vice President’s Residence.”

The gift came in a red box, and it showed a simple Christmas tree in an old-fashioned red sleigh. During the parties, Pence and his wife, Karen, wore a mask, as did most of the attendees. …

  • South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem, a likely 2024 GOP presidential candidate, would be the biggest hunter in the White House since Teddy Roosevelt if she wins. During the coronavirus crisis, she promoted pheasant-hunting as a way to have fun and even printed hunting T-shirts that read, “This is how we do social distancing in South Dakota.” And last week, she took her guns to Arkansas, where Lt.
