It’s taken half her life, but Oval Office mistress Monica Lewinsky has finally eclipsed cheating former President Bill Clinton 21 years after their affair was revealed.

At least among collectors of political history lining up to pay cash for a piece of the scandal duo.

In a just completed online auction of historical artifacts, including books signed by Clinton and Lewinsky, the former White House intern’s sold for more than twice his.

The Clinton signed copy of My Life was expected to sell for $300, but sold for just $125, barely above the required minimum bid.

The authorized Lewinsky book, Monica’s Story written by Andrew Morton, had a $50 minimum bid but sold for $275.

Alexander Historical Autograph’s Bill Panagopulos said those interested in political history, scandal and crime were hotly following the sale because it is very rare that autographs for Clinton and Lewinsky are sold or auctioned side by side.

He explained that there are many more Clinton historical items, letters, autographs available, which may be why Bubba’s book sold so cheaply.

And, Panagopulos added, Lewinsky signatures are much rarer likely boosting demand.

The affair, from 1995-1997, was revealed in 1998 and played a role in Clinton’s impeachment. However, he was not convicted in a Senate trial and was allowed to serve out his second term. It was one of several scandals to plague the Clinton White House.
