TV’s Ellen DeGeneres was none too happy that President Trump’s Tuesday Oval Office address on border security suspended the second season premiere of her show “Ellen’s Game of Games.”
“It’s affecting everyone, including me,” she said of how the government shutdown over the border has impacted the nation.
But she is having the last laugh.
On her talk show Friday, she said that the “big mess” over the premiere “gave me an idea that will make everybody happy. So the next time the president wants to make an announcement, he can do it like this.”
She then showed a scene from the “Know or Go” part of “Game of Games” in which Trump was giving his border speech.
As soon as he said, “this barrier is absolutely critical to border security,” DeGeneres hit the dunking button and down went Trump to cheers and screams.
