The Democratic Party had one of the longest last laughs ever this fall. And not just at the ballot box.
The conservative Media Research Center tells us that on all six of the late-night comedy shows, not one Republican or conservative was a guest.
The final Labor Day-Election Day tally: forty-seven liberals to zero conservatives.

“It was 100% liberal and/or Democrat,” said the report, of the preelection political guests on ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live!, NBC’s Late Night with Seth Meyers and The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, CBS’s The Late Show with Stephen Colbert and The Late Late Show with James Corden, and Comedy Central’s The Daily Show with Trevor Noah.
In banning conservatives from the popular shows, the hosts had to scramble to fill the guest chair. Chelsea and Hillary Clinton and former Clinton spokesman George Stephanopoulos were shopped around on two shows, for example.

The center’s report broke out guest backgrounds to emphasize the left tilt.
Among politicians, 21 were Democrats, and zero were Republicans. Stephen Colbert led with seven, Noah was second with five, Meyers was third at four, Fallon came in fourth with three, and Corden and Kimmel tied for fifth with one.

For journalists and celebrities, 26 were liberals and zero conservatives. Stephen Colbert was the most partisan with 11 liberal guests. Trevor Noah came in second at seven. Meyers and Fallon were third at three, and Kimmel and Corden again tied for fifth with one each.
The report also sized up the interviews and found them positive for Democrats.
It said, “Interviews were typically very friendly. Jimmy Fallon joked with the Clintons about how Trump was terrible about keeping documents secure (completely avoiding Clinton security scandals). Seth Meyers began his Kamala Harris interview with this tribute: ‘You, as an administration, you have accomplished a great deal despite only having a 50/50 Senate.’”
