Former President Donald Trump’s key political and domestic policy adviser warned that if “mandate mad” Democrats are not voted out in the fall congressional elections, they will pay critics back with more mask and vaccine requirements.
“If Dems aren’t thoroughly drubbed in the midterm elections, they will not only bring the mandates back with a vengeance, but they will make a point of punishing and shaming all dissenters,” warned Stephen Miller, founder of America First Legal.
What’s more, he pressed voters to demand apologies from Democrats for pushing mandates and keeping schools closed for so long that the education of young students has been degraded.
“In his [State of the Union address] tomorrow night, will [President Joe] Biden tell parents he’s sorry for robbing their children of their most crucial and irreplaceable development window?” Miller said on Twitter. “The damage Dems have inflicted on child development is severe, long-lasting and unforgivable.”

Facing negative polls for keeping mandates in place as the virus has dissipated, Democrats over the past month have scrambled to change course, often getting whacked by critics for following “political science.”
But few have expressed any regret for their policies as they race to change their sinking polls and claim credit for beating COVID-19 and lifting mandates.
Miller told Secrets that if allowed to stay in office, pro-mandate Democrats will consider it an endorsement of their policies and move with great speed to reintroduce mandates in any new virus spike after the fall elections.
“It’s inarguable that ‘mandate-mad Dems’ are modulating some of their most radically unpopular positions in light of Biden’s cratering poll numbers. But exactly zero of these pols have expressed a milligram of regret or remorse for their disastrous policies, let alone a promise not to reinstate them. They’ve shown zero capacity for self-reflection or contrition,” said Miller, one of the few to serve every day in Trump’s White House.

“Their sole approach to dissent this whole pandemic has been repression, coercion, and censorship. Imagine how freed they will feel to take freedom from the rest of us, especially vulnerable children, if they defy expectations in November. The only thing worse than a power-mad, mandate-hungry politician is one who has just won reelection and feels completely unrestricted to do as he pleases,” said Miller.
“Next winter will be mandate-mania unless Dems are routed at the ballot box in November,” he added.
Most polls show a strong voter preference for Republican candidates in House and Senate elections and a rejection of coronavirus policies pushed by Biden and congressional Democratic leaders.
