The Trump transition team brought a little order to the media coverage of power shift Wednesday night, offering in their first media conference call a list of those the president-elect is meeting with, and interviewing for top Cabinet posts.
Aides Sean Spicer and Jason Miller did not differentiate who was advising and who is being interviewed for jobs, but the list is a who’s who of Washington and conservatives.
On Wednesday, President-elect Trump met with:
— Sen. Jeff Sessions, said to be in line for attorney general or the Pentagon.
— Rep. Tom Price, under consideration for Health and Human Services.
— Kansas Rep. Mike Pompeo.
— Eva Moskowitz, CEO of Success Academy Charter Schools, possibly for education.
— Steve Feinberg, founder of Cerberus Capital Management.
— Retired Lt. Gen. Mike Flynn.
Thursday, he plans to meet with:
— Henry Kissinger.
— South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley.
— Rep. Jeb Hensarling, a possible Treasury pick.
— Fed Ex’s Fred Smith.
— Florida Gov. Rick Scott.
— Retired Gen. Jack Keane.
— Adm. Michael S. Rogers, director of National Security Agency.
— Former Ohio Secretary of State Ken Blackwell.
