The list of promises kept by former President Donald Trump’s administration numbers in the hundreds, but his former deputy this week said that one stands above them all.
Former Vice President Mike Pence said that Trump’s victory in securing seats for three conservative judges who went on to help reverse the 1973 Roe v. Wade right to an abortion topped everything else done in the four years of the Republican’s administration.

“I think the fact that we were able to appoint three of the justices that gave the American people a new beginning for life, and that Dobbs decision and return the question of abortion to the states, and to the American people, I think towers over everything else that we were able to do,” Pence said in a new interview with Joel Rosenberg of All Israel News and TBN, where his Rosenberg Report airs.
Pence has for decades been a leading political voice for overturning Roe v. Wade and it is one of the reasons Trump picked him as vice president. Pro-life groups credit Pence with helping to make Trump the most pro-life president in history.
As president, he picked Associate Justices Neil Gorsuch, Brett Kavanaugh, and Amy Coney Barrett, who gave conservatives control of the court for the first time in years. In June of last year, the court overturned Roe in the Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization decision.
Rosenberg, a bestselling author and media figure, interviewed Pence, who is on a book tour to promote his So Help Me God.
In the first of a two-part airing of the interview, Pence addressed the abortion issue as well as President Joe Biden’s open borders policy and Trump’s controversial decision to move the U.S. Embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.

On abortion and border policies, Pence said that Biden has folded to liberals. He said that Biden has “literally been overtaken by the radical Left.”
In speaking out against Biden, and likely running for president, Pence said, “For me, it’s just simply about getting back to having a government as good as our people, a government that is as grounded in our timeless ideals, understands what’s worked, practices freedom. And Joel, I’ve got a real good feeling that we’re gonna get back to having a government that will live up to the aspirations of the American people real soon.”
