Cuccinelli gets featured Romney role

Virginia Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli was given a boost from Mitt Romney’s campaign Monday which featured the Obamacare foe in its new effort to charge that President Obama has favored political donors with government programs and money.

State conservatives took note that Cuccinelli got the call and not Lt. Gov. Bill Bolling, Cuccinelli’s opponent in next year’s Republican gubernatorial race.

“This is a very good sign that the Romney senior folks are making a list of important things to do and accomplishing these important tasks. Cuccinelli is a critically important Virginia elected official who is also a conservative thought leader,” said a key state conservative activist.
