First Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren. Now California Sen. Kamala Harris.
The latest 2020 Democratic presidential primary polling shows both losing in their home states to the top two men in the race, former Vice President Joe Biden and Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders.
And importantly, despite the #MeToo outcry against Biden’s handsy sniff and smooch of women, few voters think it’s a big deal.
In the latest Quinnipiac University Poll out today, Biden and Sanders beat Harris in her home state.

Biden was tops with 26%, followed by Sanders at 18%, and native Harris at 17%.
And 66% of all California voters, including 67% of women and 71% of Democrats, said Biden’s touching scandal was not serious.
“‘Let Biden be Biden,’ said California voters, clearly unconcerned about former Vice President Joe Biden’s tactile embrace of supporters,” said Tim Malloy, assistant director of the Quinnipiac University Poll.
Last week, it was Warren in the embarrassing position of losing her state in a new poll.
.@EmersonPolling has Sanders 26%, Biden 23%, Warren 14%, Buttigieg 11%, O’Rourke 8%, Harris 7%… in Massachusetts. No Biden baseline from Emerson in this state, but inclined to think this is in-line with belief that he hasn’t not declined last few weeks. For Warren, yikes. pic.twitter.com/P3RWOAifeU

Emerson Polling released a poll that put Warren third in Massachusetts, the same position as Harris.
The outfit tweeted, “@EmersonPolling has Sanders 26%, Biden 23%, Warren 14%, Buttigieg 11%, O’Rourke 8%, Harris 7%… in Massachusetts. No Biden baseline from Emerson in this state, but inclined to think this is in-line with belief that he hasn’t not declined last few weeks. For Warren, yikes.”
And Emerson’s director of polling, Spencer Kimball said, “this is a concern for Warren who at this time does not have a firewall in her home state, and her rival Sanders has a strong base in the Bay State.”
