Secretary who?
If Interior Secretary Ken Salazar or Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack thought getting picked to start for President Obama’s team would lead to greater political glory and higher office, they have to be very disappointed with a new Rasmussen Reports poll.
Vilsack, the former Iowa governor who had toyed with a presidential bid, has a very low favorable rating, 18 percent. But that’s because nobody knows who he is. Some 64 percent said that they are “not sure” who he is.
Ditto for Salazar, the former Colorado senator. Some 54 percent don’t know who he is and of the few who do, he has just a 20 percent favorable rating, said Rasmussen.
The news is better for Fed Chairman Ben Bernanke. Thirty-six percent of likely voters have a positive view of him and just 22 percent haven’t heard of him.
