Disaster for Biden: 69% blast handling of Afghanistan

Voters appear united on the administration’s handling of the Afghan crisis — and it’s not good for President Joe Biden.

New polling from the Trafalgar Group sent to Secrets shows that 69.3% disapprove of Biden’s efforts in the country that the Taliban took control of in record time since the president announced the full withdrawal of U.S. forces.

A notable 59.5% “strongly disapprove” in the survey done with the group Convention of States Action and that oversampled Democrats.

The survey was released as Biden was tearing up his vacation plans to rush back to the White House to address the nation on the evolving crisis in Kabul, where so many people have rushed the airport that flights had to be canceled.

On Afghanistan, Biden faces bipartisan criticism, with Democrats also looking at it as a failure.

Trafalgar said that 48.2% of Democrats, 36.9% “strongly” disapprove of Biden’s handling of military operations in Afghanistan, compared to 39.8% who approve.

Among Republicans, 88.8% disapprove, 80% strongly, with his handling and poor planning in Afghanistan.
