Vice President Mike Pence’s campaign to promote the GOP anti-tax agenda and Republicans in upcoming 2018 elections kicks into high gear this week when he is planning six major stops in just four days.
He begins Tuesday in Council Bluffs, Iowa where he’ll keynote an America First Policies tax reform event, one of several it has hosted around the country.

Pence, who has the early lead role for the White House 2018 campaign, will be the guest of honor at the event and plans to talk up the the Trump economic agenda and how it is working for Americans, including resulting in fatter paychecks and fewer taxes.

Afterward, he’s traveling to neighboring Nebraska to attend a reelection campaign event for Republican Gov. Pete Ricketts.
Pence, already signed up to help in 30 House races, then travels to Kentucky Wednesday to help Rep. Andy Barr’s reelection campaign. While in Kentucky, he will attend a second America First Policies events to focus on tax cuts.

Then on Friday, the vice president will be off to Ohio for a third AFP event in Cleveland, then he’ll join in a campaign event for Rep. Steve Stivers, chairman of the National Republican Congressional Campaign, and the Ohio Republican congressional delegation.
“Long story short – he continues crisscrossing the country to sell the president’s agenda and help vulnerable Republicans,” said an administration advisor.
