House Republicans are doubling down on their focus of the Benghazi scandal, opening up a what amounts to a “Benghazi Central” center to keep the heat on President Obama and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to provide more details on the killings of American diplomats stationed in Libya.
The House Republican Caucus on Tuesday unveiled their new website, “The House Republican Investigation of Benghazi,” calling it a “one-stop shop” for information on the September 11, 2012 attack on the U.S. diplomatic facility, initially blamed on an angry crowd but soon after revealed to be the work of terrorists.
The page does not mean that the House leadership has decided to open up a special investigation of the affair that dogs Clinton, but instead offers a complete source of what the House has done so far on the issue and what it has collected from official agencies including State.
