Despite widespread reports that Obamacare is getting hit with huge premium increases to an average monthly payment of $300, President Obama put out an infomercial Wednesday claiming that “most people” will only have to pay $75.
“That’s less than your cellphone bill,” said the president in a new sale pitch.
He presumably is figuring in federal subsidies to Obamacare subscribers that can bring the price down for some to as low as $75, according to health websites.

In 2017, most people who get coverage on HealthCare.gov can find a plan for less than $75 a month. And people who shop on HealthCare.gov can choose from an average of 30 plans.
