Kasich sigh: ‘If not this crusade, then another’

Ohio Gov. John Kasich is starting to sound like he’s giving up, telling a rally that “I don’t know if my purpose is to be president.”

At Georgia’s Kennesaw State University Tuesday he pushed aside a supporter’s urging to take off the gloves and start throwing punches in his battle with Donald Trump.

Instead, Kasich suggested that if he doesn’t win the presidency, he will try another crusade, maybe even in his kid’s school.

“I don’t know if my purpose is to be president. My purpose is to be out here, doing what I think I need to be doing and we’ll see where it ends up. And if it’s not this crusade, then it will be another one. Maybe it will be a really small one somewhere in my kid’s school. Who knows?” said the governor.
