Hard-hitting: Obama goes to Ryan Seacrest, ESPN to pitch Obamacare

President Obama is taking this year’s pitch for Obamacare to a couple of friendly media pals, Ryan Seacrest and ESPN.

According to the White House pool, he will be interviewed by them today as he pushes for more people to sign up for the health insurance program by Dec. 15.

On ESPN, he is expected to talk about the move by teams to support protesters of recent grand jury decisions not to indict police in the shooting of blacks.

Good morning, all. Just wanted to flag three radio interviews the president is scheduled to do today, per the White House.

From a WH official — The President is doing three radio interviews this morning as part of our ongoing Administration-wide ACA enrollment outreach in advance of the December 15th deadline to sign-up for coverage that would begin January 1st. Open enrollment goes through February 15th.

— Raleigh NCW QOK-FM Afternoon Traffic Jams with Brian Dawson / airs today @ 3:00 pm EST

— On Air with Ryan Seacrest / airs Monday @ 7:04 am PST

The Colin Cowherd show’s twitter feed muses whether Obama can now be considered a “friend” of the “Herd.” Also of note, ESPN says that Obama will talk about NBA players wearing “I Can’t Breathe” t-shirts, the NFL’s new player code of conduct, the Chicago Bulls and White Sox. No word on whether he will be quizzed on the spelling of “Samardzija” or again be asked to name his favorite Sox player.
