President Trump, campaigning in Cleveland, invited Rep. Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, on stage, and the man who wants to be House speaker listed the reasons to vote Republican and back the administration.
“The choice tomorrow could not be more clear,” said Jordan.
“The Left has gone completely crazy. They applaud (ex-footballer Colin) Kaepernick when he disrespects the flag. They cheer on (New York) Gov. Cuomo when he says America was never that great. And they embrace (Rep.) Maxine Waters when she says go out and harass anyone who supports our president,” he said.
Jordan added, “contrast that with the record in the 21 months under the president’s leadership.” At that point he gave his list of accomplishments, taken from the C-SPAN video word for word:
- Regulations reduced.
- Taxes cut.
- The economy growing at 4 percent.
- Lowest unemployment in 50 years.
- (Neil) Gorsuch and (Brett) Kavanaugh on the court.
- Out of that crazy Iran deal.
- The embassy is in Jerusalem.
- The hostages are home from North Korea.
- Oh, by the way, there’s a new NAFTA agreement.
