The Hillary Clinton presidential campaign has begun fundraising off its vice presidential decision nearly two weeks before it is expected to be announced.
Under the email header “the big announcement,” the campaign is urging supporters to sign up for instant smart phone texts to be “the first” to learn her pick.
“I want you to be literally the FIRST one to know when this team gets a little bigger — and Hillary announces her running mate,” said the campaign.
After plugging in a phone number, the campaign fundraiser opens.
