Hillary Clinton’s much mocked 1969 college shot of her dressed in striped hip-huggers and “hootie glasses,” is back, and this time in a full-blown promotion to woo the leading 2016 presidential candidate into the race.
Ready for Hillary, the campaign team in waiting, features the photo on a new T-shirt. If it sells — and people wear it — there will be no doubt that the public is ready for her second presidential try, as the group, and 70 percent of Democrats, believes.
“#TBD or #POTUS 45?” asks the Ready for Hillary email pitch. “Let’s help her decide! Get your 1969 Hillary at Wesley College, seriously fabulous pant tee!”
