The Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation and Institute is making good on its long-planned goal of opening a satellite operation in Washington. Foundation Executive Director John Heubusch said Washington could use a bit of homespun Reagan thinking
“We believe that our nation’s capital could use a legitimate convener of true civil discourse on critical issues of the day, some that President Reagan cared deeply about,” he said.
It named former Pentagon official Roger Zakheim the first director of the Reagan Institute’s Washington office. …
