Sarah Palin: CNN’s Costello, media liberals ‘want to crush us’

Sarah Palin on Tuesday shot back at CNN anchor Carol Costello’s gleeful mocking over the assault of Palin’s daughter Bristol, charging that liberal media want to destroy those who don’t agree with them.

Interviewed on Fox Business Network, Palin also said that the personal attacks on her and her family have sparked a renewed interest in running for political office.

“The more they’re pouring on, the more I’m going to bug the crap out of them by being out there with a voice, with the message, hopefully running for office in the future,” Palin told Stuart Varney.

Some conservatives have held out hope that she will run for president in 2016.

It was her first comment on the CNN brush-up since Costello made fun of an audio tape of a scared Bristol Palin describing an assault to police. “This is quite possibly the best minute and a half of audio we’ve ever come across,” Costello told her audience. She later tweeted an apology.

Palin, herself mocked by the media during her 2008 vice presidential bid, said, “The bottom line is those liberals love those Saul Alinsky’s rules for radicals where they are out there playing the politics of personal destruction. They do want to destroy personally those they disagree with they are very, very intolerant of those who maybe hold opposing view to their liberal failed agenda view. So they want to crush us.”
