Fox trio dominate conservative bestseller list

Three Fox news talkers — Bill O’Reilly, Dana Perino and Kirsten Powers — dominate the latest Conservative Bestseller List, with Powers’ claim that the Left tries to silence the Right in the media blasting onto the list with The Silencing: How the Left is Killing Free Speech.

There were three other new entries on the list for May 20-26:

— A new Reagan biography, Reagan: The Life.

— Retired Gen. Stanley McChrystal’s new Team of Teams: New Rules of Engagement for a Complex World.

— The paperback version of Charles Krauthammer’s Things That Matter.

“As Dana Perino takes down both Bill O’Reilly and the media-sensation Clinton Cash, this is one of the biggest shake-ups we’ve seen since we launched the Conservative Bestseller List earlier this year,” said Christopher N. Malagisi, editor of the Conservative Book Club. “What’s even more impressive is how well Fox News’ Democrat commentator Kirsten Powers’ book is doing on a conservative book bestseller list as she rebukes her own political party’s war on free speech,” he added.

The Conservative Book Club provides the list to Secrets weekly.
