A month after his surprise heart transplant, former Vice President Dick Cheney is doing remarkably well and is back to the business of playing grandpa.
“My dad is doing great,” cheered daughter Liz Cheney. “He and my mom hosted the Easter egg hunt and dinner at their house (Sunday) for all 13 of us,” she told Secrets.
What’s more, she added, Cheney’s already filling up his schedule. “He is busy marking his calendar with the stuff that really matters–grandkids’ baseball and softball games this spring.” Even as vice president, Cheney used to play hooky on afternoons to watch his grandkids’ sporting events.
