Vice President Joe Biden has finally said it: The Republicans could beat the Obama-Biden team. And it’s apparently keeping him up at night.
“Want to know what really frightens me?” he asks in a new fundraising email? “They could win on November 6th. If they do, boy, is our country in trouble.”
Biden is just the latest to make an email pitch for money for the final stretch of the campaign. Here’s what he just sent out on behalf of the Democratic Party:

It frightens me that Mitt Romney is the leader of the Republican Party — and there are hundreds of Republican candidates across the country who think just like him. And they could win on November 6th. If they do, boy, is our country in trouble.
Just look at what Republicans in the House have tried to do in this last legislative session alone: They voted to defund Planned Parenthood and voted 33 times to repeal Obamacare — yet never voted once for the President’s jobs bill to help put Americans back to work. It is never acceptable — never — to put politics before people.
Our most important fundraising deadline yet is on Sunday — and we have just a little over a month left to do everything we can to make sure that President Obama and Democrats across the country win on Election Day.
Seriously — I hope you feel the urgency I do. We can’t let these Republicans control the White House and Congress for the next four years.
