Military recruiters wasted no time getting behind President Trump’s new move to create a “Space Force,” a proposed new branch of the Pentagon.
The closest recruiting office to the White House, just five blocks away on 15th Street NW, put out a white sandwich board asking if those passing by were “interested in the Space Force.” It added, “You’ve got to start somewhere.”

• House conservatives got a kick out of the new inspector general’s report on the FBI’s mishandling of the Hillary Clinton email scandal, especially the part that revealed 13 agents talked to just one reporter to spin a good tale. On a new podcast from Arizona Rep. Andy Biggs, “What’s the Biggs’ idea,” Ohio Rep. Jim Jordan said, “How many agents does it take in your press office? It takes 14. One to write the press release and 13 to leak the other information.” …
• How bad has it gotten for Attorney General Jeff Sessions? Not only did President Trump’s 2020 campaign manager Brad Parscale tweet last week that Sessions should be “fired,” but a new Public Policy Polling survey found that while Trump voters want Sessions out, Clinton supporters want him to stay. …

• The C-SPAN Bus tour of 50 state capitals has landed in Alaska after a three-day ferry ride from Bellingham, Wash., to Juneau. Next month it’s heading to Hawaii.
