Buzz: Diamond and Silk publish, Moscow pressed by Jim Gilmore, friend of House pages dies

They’ve got more than 1,200 videos posted on YouTube, but the first by Diamond and Silk almost didn’t happen.

“I didn’t know how to upload it to YouTube,” said Diamond in their new book, Uprising: Who the Hell Said You Can’t Ditch and Switch? Silk was eventually able to post it, and their first endorsement of then-candidate Donald Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign 20 days after his announcement began their new video career, they revealed in the book being released on Tuesday. …

  • Capitol Hill is mourning the death of Donnald Anderson, a long-serving House officer who rose to be clerk of the House, one of the key positions that keep the chamber running. He died on July 30 in Sacramento. He came to Washington as a House page and was remembered by the U.S. Capitol Page Alumni Association as a mentor to hundreds of pages. …
