Max Scherzer, the three-time Cy Young Award pitcher for the Washington Nationals, is headlining a fundraiser for Virginia Democrat.

The Dec. 6 event is for Delegate Kathleen Murphy. The entrance fee for the baseball-themed fundraiser is $500 to $5,000.
