Conservative team targets HR 1, ballot fraud in Georgia and elsewhere

The influential Conservative Partnership Institute today laid out plans to tackle decades of election irregularities and the Democrat’s new national election proposal, H.R. 1, naming noted attorney Cleta Mitchell to lead its Election Integrity Coalition.

Mitchell, who helped advise former President Donald Trump during his fight over the election results in several states, including Georgia, will focus on legal training and support for conservatives and coordinate challenges to schemes to liberalize elections.

“My role with CPI is to help bring all these strings together and to keep the multiple tracks that we need to deal with. And my role with them is to try to help support the efforts of others, figure out what’s missing, what people are doing, talking to each other,” she told Secrets.

“I’ve had my finger in so many different pieces of the election integrity pie for so long,” she said shortly after organizing a call with 20 organizations focused on the issue.

“All of them are doing things related to H.R. 1/S. 1. And they had not talked to one another. There are multiple parts of it,” she said of the twin bills pushed by Democrats and ripped by Republicans.

Mitchell has held prominent positions with several conservative legal groups and is known as the “consigliere to the vast right-wing conspiracy,” said the CPI.

After her role in Trump’s post-election call to Georgia election officials in which he urged scrutiny of potentially fraudulent ballots, the liberal media sought to find out who she was. But in conservative circles, she is famous.

After that call, Mitchell advised Trump that Georgia didn’t need to find enough votes to erase Joe Biden’s 12,670 lead, but instead, it should throw out over 18,000 potentially fraudulent ballots.

“There are 18,325 votes included in that certified number cast by people whose addresses are shown on the voter registration rolls as being at a P.O. Box, a commercial address, or a vacant lot. So that’s one data point. And by itself, it’s sufficient under Georgia law for the election to be thrown out, but we never got our day in court, and that’s what the president was frustrated about,” she said.

The CPI is a conservative policy and training powerhouse whose team includes former Trump chief of staff Mark Meadows and former Sen. Jim DeMint, its chairman.

“Washington elites are trying to silence and bully conservatives with astounding brazenness, which Cleta has witnessed first hand, and now through her work at CPI, she will teach the conservative movement how to fight back against this cancel culture,” said DeMint.

Added Meadows, “There is no one better than Cleta Mitchell to lead and support the conservative movement’s efforts on election integrity.”

Mitchell said several times that she’s excited to lead challenges to questionable election rules and tighten ballot integrity at a time when it is in the spotlight.

“It’s time for conservatives to stand up to the left’s attempts to silence us in the public square and at the ballot box,” she said, adding, “I’m excited to join CPI as it has become the central hub for conservatives in Washington to strategize and unite against unrelenting leftists attacks against our Constitutional principles.”
