The most expensive campaign in history has shifted into an even higher fundraising gear as the Trump and Biden campaigns begin returning to donors for cash to battle ballot fights.
Overnight, emails were dispatched by both sides, begging for new donations to fund the legal effort sparked when President Trump promised to take his complaints of ballot trickery to the Supreme Court.
“We need your help to ensure we have the proper resources to protect the results,” said Vice President Mike Pence in an urgent email.
The RNC will need money to fight the legal challenges where Democrats may try and steal votes.
Send them some money now if you can. @gop

“The Left wants to undermine this election, and we need YOU to FIGHT BACK!” he added.
And at 8 a.m. today, an email signed by Trump said, “You’ve been there for him every step of the way these last few years. Anytime the Radical Left came after him, YOU have been there to defend him. We’re emailing you now to ask for you to step up ONE LAST TIME and DEFEND YOUR PRESIDENT!”
On the Biden side, and even before the polls closed, the campaign returned to small-dollar donors with their plea, “Will you pitch in one last time to fuel this fight through to the very end?”
The potential cost of a legal fight is huge. New York Magazine, for example, claimed that Biden had 4,000 lawyers “on standby or working already” in Florida alone. That state has been awarded to Trump, but several such as Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Wisconsin are nip and tuck, and lawyers are expected to be tapped in each by both sides.
At this point, Trump appears to be the legal aggressor as results from urban areas roll in and cut his edge. In his email, Pence said, “It’s only a matter of time before the Democrats try to steal the election and manipulate the results. They’ve made it clear they’d rather destroy our nation than have four more years of our president’s incredible leadership.”
He concluded with a request for money: “IMMEDIATELY to stand with us and to DEFEND the integrity of our Election.”
