The former long-service White House physician tripled down on his claims that President Joe Biden’s mental capabilities are failing on Wednesday, calling him childlike just hours after revealing in a new biography that former President Barack Obama scolded him for his diagnosis of the current president.
In three tweets following the leak of Obama’s note to him, Rep. Ronny Jackson, who was White House doctor to Obama and Presidents George W. Bush and Donald Trump, said it’s time that someone step in to replace Biden.
“At this point, Biden’s cognitive function is comparable to a child’s. He has NO IDEA where he is, what he’s doing, or what he’s saying. HE CAN’T EVEN READ OFF A TELEPROMPTER! This is tragic. Biden needs to resign or the cabinet needs to step in. This has gone TOO FAR!” tweeted Jackson, a Texas Republican.

Criticizing the president while he is traveling in Israel could become controversial, but Biden seemed to reinforce Jackson’s point minutes after arriving in Tel Aviv when he flubbed a line off his note cards.
Biden, talking about never forgetting about Nazi atrocities, said it is key to “keep alive the truth and honor of the Holocaust — horror of the Holocaust.”

The transcript of the arrival speech included the president’s hiccups. It read, “Later today, I will once more return to the hallowed ground of Yad Sh — Vashem to honor the six million Jewish lives that were stolen in a genocide and continue — which we must do every, every day — continue to bear witness, to keep alive the truth and honor [horror] of the Holocaust — horror of the Holocaust, honor those we lost so that we never, ever forget that lesson, you know, and to continue our shared, unending work to fight the poison of anti-Semitism wherever it raises its ugly head. Wherever we find it in the world, we make real on the promise of never again by taking it on.”
In a second tweet, Jackson said that Biden’s mental issues are also interfering with the president’s command of the economy.

At one point, Jackson was the only major public figure questioning Biden’s mental capacities, but now concerns are raised regularly in the media and in Democratic circles, especially as the president’s approval ratings sink and liberals grow worried he will hurt their reelection chances.
The Obama email to Jackson isn’t new, but the lawmaker/doctor’s publishing of it in his upcoming book is. In 2020, when Jackson first raised questions about Biden, Obama emailed that he felt the criticisms were unprofessional.
