#InstaPOTUS: Obama takes over Hillary’s Instagram

In the latest sign of just how cozy the White House has become with Hillary Rodham Clinton’s presidential campaign, President Obama took over the Democratic presidential candidate’s Instagram account on the same day the duo were campaigning together for the first time.

“Hello, Instagram! It’s President Obama. Really! I’m excited to hit the trail with Hillary today in Charlotte, and I’m taking over her account to share a few thoughts with you about the stakes in this race, and why I think she’d make a great president. So I hope you’ll follow along. I’m feeling pretty fired up. -bo,” Obama wrote.

The early comments were mixed.

“chile1yellow Love you both. GOD please help her to become our next President. @hillaryclinton @barackobama,” said one.

“consumer0fcr3ativity@holycitysinner99 ‘our economy is the worst it’s ever been,'” added another.

It was a day of symbolism. Not only did the two campaign together for the first time, but Obama flew the Clinton campaign down to the North Carolina event on Air Force One.
