The Republican power couple of Matt Schlapp, head of the American Conservative Union and the Conservative Political Action Conference, and his wife Mercedes, a former top Trump White House official, are teaming for a podcast.
Every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, they will host their Schlappdown, CPAC Now: America Uncanceled.
- Washington Post columnist Dana Milbank is taking a leave of absence to write a book about the GOP. To nobody’s surprise, it won’t be a positive book. He told Facebook friends it will be about “the Republican Party crackup over the last 25 years.” …
- The Young America’s Foundation has launched a “Campus Bias Tip Line” to help conservative students navigate college life. Spokesman Spencer Brown told us it will keep an eye on “leftist” professors, help students find a welcoming campus, and even help students fight “indoctrination” tactics. “Schools will not be let off the hook for abusing their powers as educators,” he said. …
- The Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and Museum in Simi Valley, California, has added a new member to its “Peace through Strength” exhibit. Joining a Navy F-14 Tomcat and Air Force F-117 stealth aircraft is an Army M1A1 Abrams tank donated by General Dynamics and the U.S. Army. …
