Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton on Monday praised her husband, Bill, and President Obama for arriving in the White House to “clean up the mess” left by Republicans, but an email from her campaign showed that wages under Obama have dropped — and continue to do so.

“For 35 years, Republicans have argued that if we give more wealth to those at the top – by cutting their taxes and letting big corporations write their own rules – it will trickle down, it will trickle down to everyone else,” she said in an economic address.
