Despite a wave of negative news coverage and reports that Democrats are ready to junk President Joe Biden in 2024, he still leads all other potential challengers by a good margin.
In the latest Zogby Poll, provided to Secrets today, Biden’s support among Democratic voters is 41%. His only weakness appears to be among younger voters.
Former first lady Michelle Obama, who has signaled no interest in running, remains in second at 16% followed by Vice President Kamala Harris at 11%.

Should Biden, who would be 81 on Election Day 2024, decide against running, the race tightens to Obama at 21%, Harris at 19% and former first lady Hillary Rodham Clinton at 11%. Current first lady Jill Biden surprised at 7%.
Among most voting groups polled by Zogby Analytics, Obama slightly edges out Harris, said the poll analysis from Jonathan Zogby.

“When it came to demographics, a hypothetical Michelle Obama candidacy had the most crossover appeal,” said Zogby.
“She appealed to Generation Z, beating Harris 29% to 8%, but first lady Jill Biden was also popular as she received 18% among the youngest respondents. Millennials were split between Harris and Michelle Obama (both receiving 23%), while surprisingly, Hillary Clinton received 13% among Millennials. The former first lady did better than the vice president with Generation X; Michelle Obama beats Kamala Harris 27% to 20%. The oldest voters, Baby Boomers, thought Harris was a better choice than Michelle Obama, 19% to 13%. Minorities were more in favor of the former first lady than the current vice president. Hispanics favored Michelle Obama 18% to 13% and African Americans favored Obama 29% to 19% over Harris,” said Zogby.
The president has recently been the subject of several critical reviews by Democrats who are upset with his plodding style and lack of energy in fighting inflation and gas prices. But his aides have pushed back and claimed he plans to run for reelection.
