It’s Norquist over Harper for Reid’s power player award

It’s no secret Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid thinks Americans for Tax Reform President Grover Norquist’s ability to get the GOP to fight tax increases is killing the country.

But at the regular Tuesday media stakeout near the Senate floor, Reid put it in words even political novices could understand: “Most people think (Nationals slugger) Bryce Harper is the most powerful man in Washington, but the most powerful man in Washington is Grover Norquist.”

It was a big compromise for Reid: Harper is from Nevada, Reid’s home state.
