Obama sends suggestion cards – only to Democrats

President Obama finally has a business title he can put up against Mitt Romney. While the former Massachusetts runs to be the nation’s CEO, Obama is showing that he’d rather be the store manager.

Case in point: He has just sent out millions of comment cards to supporters, just like the ones shoppers see in stores. “Your opinions are important to me!” he writes. “You may use this space to let me know your priorities for my administration, your ideas for addressing important issues, your thoughts on mobilizing Democrats in your community or other suggestions you have for me.”

But if you are a Republican, don’t expect to get one. The comment cards only went to Democrats. They are included in a new Democratic National Committee fundraising package that also features a souvenir postcard showing a black and white photo of a pensive Obama.

And even if you send one in, it’s not very likely the president will see it. Because he opens his four-page fundraising memo revealing that he reads 10 letters each night from Americans, notes that give him inspiration for his second term.

“Each night, I get the chance to read about 10 letters from people across the country. Some are inspiring. Some are heartbreaking. But each one compels me to keep moving forward on this journey we started together. And as I read the stories, hopes and fears of people nationwide, I’m also reminded of what I told you and the American people when I was sent to the White House. I cannot do this alone.”
