Florida Sen. Marco Rubio won’t talk about the vetting the Romney campaign is conducting on him as it searches for a vice presidential candidate, but he is offering insight into Mitt Romney himself. “He’s funny,” said Rubio when asked to detail a trait of the presumptive GOP nominee that isn’t well known.
“He likes to do a lot of pranks,” said Rubio. “I’ve been warned about that in the past so anytime the phone rings or something I think it’s a prank.”
Rubio was quick to add a more serious analysis. “This is a very successful person…this is a person who has succeeded at every aspect of his life,” said Rubio. “This is a well-rounded successful person and really a role model for the kind of person we hoped to have more of in public service.”
