Nice eyewitness: ‘No one’s in the clear as terrorist-bait’

A top American expert on immigration who was an eyewitness to the attack in Nice, France Thursday night had declared that “no one’s in the clear” when it comes to Islamic terror attacks.

Mark Krikorian, executive director of the Washington-based Center for Immigration Studies, said he studied the events in Nice to make sure he wasn’t making his family terrorist bait, but it didn’t work.

In his blog, he wrote from Nice:

“Before my family and I came to Nice for vacation, I looked to see if any large-capacity, terrorist-bait events were scheduled during our stay. Several matches of the European soccer championships were played there, but that was weeks ago, and last weekend’s final (where France lost to Portugal) was in Paris, so I figured we were in the clear.

“But no one’s in the clear.”

His group has been out front in drawing attention to the problems of uncapped legal and illegal immigration, especially from nations linked to terrorism.

He made reference to the terrorist’s background in the post that included many related tweets warning of an Islamic attack on America by immigrants allowed in by the Obama administration.

“The local paper reports that the terrorist was ‘of Tunisian origin,’ which surprises no one, of course. But since he was killed by police, President Obama may never know his real motive,” wrote Krikorian.
