Race relations worsening, MLK ‘dream’ unfulfilled: Poll

White people walking arm in arm with black people in Black Lives Matter protests and African Americans being voted into the two highest political posts in the land have apparently done nothing to improve race relations, which are now considered to be worsening under President Joe Biden.

By a 2-1 margin, a Rasmussen Reports survey found adults believe relations are getting “worse,” not “better.” While 29% said relations are staying “about the same,” 20% said they are getting better, and 45% said worse.

White respondents had a slightly more pessimistic view than those who are black. The former group’s worse versus better comparison stood at 45% and 21%, respectively. For the latter, it was 43% and 25%.

On Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s holiday, however, the nation is united on its view of him as an icon and hero. A remarkable 89% have a favorable view of him.

However, only 34% believe his dream of unity has been met.
