Florida Sen. Marco Rubio owned internet traffic during Tuesday’s GOP presidential debate while the normally flamboyant Donald Trump flat-lined, according to a web review provided to Secrets.
In its “Share of Web,” the group DataPulse found that Rubio’s web traffic topped all other candidates the whole night long.
But it also found that Texas Sen. Ted Cruz spiked his traffic when he mentioned his website, just the latest sign of how Americans watch debates with one eye on the internet and the other on the TV.
Former Florida Gov Jeb Bush was also a major player in debate internet traffic.
