The fast-talking ‘Ragin Cajun’ is at it again, this time deeming it “fun” to see what he thinks is the death of Republican Donald Trump.
Echoing much of the mainstream media, James Carville, the architect of Bill Clinton’s 1992 win over former President George H.W. Bush, claimed that Trump “bled out” at the last presidential debate.
“Hemorrhage. It’s a fun word to say,” said the influential advisor, “especially if you talk like I do. And it’s the only word I can think of to describe what happened to Donald Trump on Wednesday night — he bled out on that debate stage.”
In a fundraising letter, he ripped senators that stood with Trump, demanding they be defeatd.
“If you think Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell still deserve to run the House and Senate after standing by Trump while he threatens to undermine our democracy itself, maybe you ought to log off the internet entirely,” he wrote.
His full letter is below:
Hemorrhage.
It’s a fun word to say, especially if you talk like I do. And it’s the only word I can think of to describe what happened to Donald Trump on Wednesday night — he bled out on that debate stage.
The only question now is whether he’ll take the rest of the GOP with him.
And that’s up to us.
If you think Pat Toomey, Kelly Ayotte, John McCain, and Ron Johnson — Republican Senators who stuck with Trump through the worst of the worst — deserve to be re-elected, then you can stop reading and skip to your next email.
If you think Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell still deserve to run the House and Senate after standing by Trump while he threatens to undermine our democracy itself, maybe you ought to log off the internet entirely.
But if you believe like I do that it’s high time we put the responsible adults — you know, Democrats — back in charge of our country, then you need to dig deep and double down for the rest of this election. Today, with 17 days to go, that means $3 right now to back up your commitment.
No slowing down. We’re in the sprint to the finish line to take back Congress. Make sure you’re part of this.
