In an unusual slap at the celebrity culture his team covers, TMZ’s Harvey Levin charged that President Obama and his Hollywood supporters have sullied the presidency with the type of “circus act” demonstrated this week when the president starred at a fundraiser hosted by actress Gwyneth Paltrow.
On his TV show Friday, Levin blasted the event where Paltrow said that Obama is “so handsome that I can’t speak properly.” He called it a “circus act.”

His rant did not end there. Levin took to Twitter where he said that the Thursday night fundraiser “sullies the presidency,” and had his website write up a longer attack on the “Dating Game” between Obama and Paltrow.
“The idiocy of Hollywood was in full bloom Thursday night when Gwyneth Paltrow turned an already-embarrassing Hollywood fundraiser into ‘The Dating Game,’” said the site.
“It’s the latest example of how demeaning it has become for presidents to act like circus animals — performing for crowds that will feed them, in this case, feed them with money to line political coffers,” it added.
