President Trump isn’t going anywhere if voters have their say.
New polling shows that a sizable majority of all voters back the president’s demands for recounts in states where the final count was razor thin.
And when the Electoral College confirms Democrat Joe Biden’s victory, Republicans by a margin of nearly 7-to-1 want Trump to run again in 2024.
In a poll from McLaughlin & Associates for Newsmax TV, 67% of all voters said it is fair for Trump to ask for recounts where the final margin was 1% or closer.

Still, by a margin of 57%-43%, they also believe that it is OK for the media to declare Biden the winner based on the unofficial results.
Should Trump lose, as it appears, 68% are calling for a comeback race in 2024. However, and notably, 31% don’t want him to run again.
If he doesn’t, then McLaughlin found a tie between Donald Trump Jr. and Vice President Mike Pence, at 20% each. Some 4% favor first daughter Ivanka Trump, and 1% want Fox News host Tucker Carlson as the GOP nominee in 2024.
