Democrats begin fundraising off Hillary Clinton’s announcement

That was fast. Super fast.

Within minutes of Hillary Rodham Clinton announcing her presidential bid, Democrats began using her as their fundraising lure.

It started with the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee. It sent out an email that read: “Hillary’s in. Add your name to support Democrats.”

It added, “Republicans everywhere will be on the attack – add your name and show your support for Democrats today.”

The email didn’t mention any of the other Democrats eyeing the presidency, including former Sen. Jim Webb or former Gov. Martin O’Malley.
