On that IRS business, Jonathan Capehart of the Washington Post insists that President Obama:
… must make it absolutely clear that what the IRS did was wrong; that its real and perceived coercive actions undermine our faith in that agency and in our government, and that changes will be made to ensure it never happens again.
Right. And having fixed the minor flaw in human nature that tempts people in power to employ in ways to vex and punish their enemies, the president should then do something to make the oceans recede.
