President Trump gave his second State of the Union address this week, calling for an end to the partisan divide. According to a CBS poll, 76 percent of Americans approved of Trump’s speech, which included his demand for a border wall.
Trump is reportedly open to a potential border security agreement being negotiated in Congress, in an effort to avoid another government shutdown. The deal would likely include new technology, additional border patrol agents, and some kind of fencing in areas along the southern border.
While the president’s physician said he is “in very good health” following his second annual medical exam as president, a private group is pushing for mental health screenings for Trump, and other candidates, to determine if they’re fit for office.
