President Joe Biden is set to deliver remarks in the Roosevelt Room at 1:30 p.m. Eastern one day after a shooter attempted to assassinate former President Donald Trump at a rally in Pennsylvania.
Gov. Josh Shapiro confirmed the identity of the attendee who was killed during the shooting as former fire chief Corey Comperatore earlier on Sunday. The alleged shooter, Thomas Matthew Crooks, 20, was identified by the FBI early Sunday morning. Crooks was killed by Secret Service after he opened fire.
